Description

This high-grade sparkling sake is carbonated from bottle fermentation. Aromas of sweet rice fill the bouquet and follow through with a slightly sweet flavour on the palate. The tiny bubbles create an invigorating mouthfeel finishing clean and crisp. Enjoy chilled with tempura, fresh fruit and dessert.

Tasting Notes

Pale silvery straw color. Inviting aromas of almond custard, baked pear, and anisette cookie with a supple, effervescent, fruity light-to-medium body and a tingling, interesting, honeyed jicama and chalk finish. A fun, zesty sparkling sake that's really different; you should definitely try this. Exceptional. Score - 90. (tastings.com, Aug. 7, 2014)
