Description

Created by fourth-generation farmers, Caledon's Spirit Tree is a modern cidery with traditional values. Their Draught Cider is made with a unique blend of 100% freshly pressed apples. Distinct apple flavours are complemented by hints of honey and spice, well-balanced with a clean finish.

Tasting Notes

Clear straw coloured with a thin foam; aromas of apple, ginger and light spices like white pepper and nutmeg; the flavours originating from the unique blend of courtland, gala, golden delicious, northern spy, golden russet and chisel jersey apples, are layered and balanced with some spicy characteristics and a clean finish.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with salmon and rich fish dishes, or cream-sauced white meat dishes. The dry and spicy character would also complement stir-fry dishes.
