Description

Judicious accents of toast, smoke, nutmeg and anise mingle into ripe but pristine black cherry and blueberry in this succulent red. Aged two years in oak, it's a richer, more unctuous Syrah compared with the producer's spry entry-level Crozes-Hermitage but elegant still. The finish is marked by fine-grained, upright tannins and bright acidity. Should improve through 2026. Editors' Choice. Score - 93. (Anna Lee C. Iijima, Wine Enthusiast, March 1, 2021)
