Description

This Nigori sake is made from Gohyakumangoku, Akidawara and Sakahomare rice, with grains polished to 65%. The palate is rich with well-balanced acidity, sweetness and a lingering finish. It is best served warmed, paired with grilled meats and savoury dishes.

Tasting Notes

A blend of Gohyakumangoku and the Fukui native varietal Hanaetizen, polished to 60%, beyond standard Junmai level of 70%. Distinct for this style for being best served warm, around 45°C range. It was awarded 'Grand Gold Quality' in a 2013 warmed sake competition. Nice and mellow sweetness on the palate with a very smooth milky taste. Sweet yet elegant flavour profile.
