Description

The 2020 Ermitage Le Reverdy Blanc comes from a mix of the Méal and Beaume lieux-dits and is 100% Marsanne. It's as good as anything out there and has a quintessential Marsanne nose of quince, honeyed peach, spice, white flowers, and celery seed. Hitting the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, it has bright acidity, beautiful balance, and a great finish. Brought up in 90% demi-muids with the balance in stainless steel, drink bottles over the coming 5-7 years, or hold off for over a decade. Score - 98. (jebdunnuck.com, Feb. 16, 2022)
