Knowable marine airy and salty melon de bourgogne here with an extra layer of insulation thanks to older vines and their ability to concentrate fruit. Adds some flesh and more intently a waxiness to bring some complexity into what is so often the simplest and most straightforward of Loire white wines. This carries some weight and does well to hold attention with a not oft feeling of Muscadet grip. Drink 2023-2026. Tasted April 2023. Score - 89. (Michael Godel, winealign.com)
